Dr Gabriel Siles-Brügge is Associate Professor in Public Policy at the University of Warwick, having previously worked at the Universities of Manchester and Oxford Brookes. His research is centred on the politics of international trade and investment agreement negotiations, with a particular focus on EU and UK trade policy.

He is the author of Constructing European Union Trade Policy: A Global Idea of Europe (2014, Palgrave Macmillan) and co-author of TTIP: The Truth about the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (2016, Polity). From 2017-19 he was a Parliamentary Academic Fellow with the UK House of Commons International Trade Committee and since 2015 he is an advisor on trade policy to the European Public Health Alliance.
